Calin Chiriac is a family law lawyer. Before joining Devichy, he worked as a lawyer in the Research Service of the Superior Court in Montreal for over 3 years, where he gained significant experience in family and civil matters. This position is esteemed within our profession as one of the most exacting, requiring exceptional attention to detail and precision. He earned his Bachelor of Law at the University of Montreal and, during his academic career, was actively involved as a clinician and coordinator at the Itinerant Legal Clinic, a non-profit organization that provides legal information and support services to disadvantaged, homeless, and/or marginalized individuals throughout their legal proceedings. In 2022, he received the Anne-Saris Award from the Itinerant Legal Clinic for “an exceptional commitment to defending the values of social justice.” Passionate about writing and the intricacies of legal language, Calin is currently completing the microprogram in legal drafting at Laval University, focused on the techniques of drafting laws and regulations.
