Louis-Alexandre Martin is a criminal law lawyer with more than 10 years’ experience. In recent years, he was involved in several high-profile cases in Quebec, including two murder trials before a judge and jury.
Since Mr. Martin began practising law, he has pleaded numerous cases, preliminary hearings and all kinds of motions. He has taken on extremely difficult files with very high-stake issues. Louis-Alexandre is fervent enthusiast of trial techniques. He is on a non-stop quest for excellence in that area. Holding a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, Mr. Martin applies his knowledge in cases involving drunk driving.
As for his academic background, Louis-Alexandre was awarded the Bar of Montreal award as well as the Fraser Milner Casgrain award for academic excellence in his university studies. In fact, he graduated at the top of his class. He was also among the winners crowned as the best Francophone litigation team at the Gale Cup Moot, a Canada-wide criminal and constitutional law mooting competition.
